Job Summary:

The position is responsible for managing the engineering / property / marine & fire portfolio, overseeing the underwriting team, and ensuring that they understand expectations and delivery timelines in taking acceptable risk or business for driving profitability within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze, evaluate, and make underwriting decisions in line with the underwriting guidelines and recommendations

· Liaise with brokers, underwriters, and other intermediaries to understand detailed clauses within contracts and develop innovative procedures in Underwriting

· Establishing professional relationships with internal and external clients

Requirements:

· Graduate with any Bachelor's Degree

· More than 5 years of relevant work experience in Underwriting and Risk Management

· High Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Ability to analyze processes information, identify problems, and develop effective solutions and strategies

· Effective verbal and written communication

· Have the ability to take disciplinary action when necessary

· Strong analytical, creativity skills, and interpersonal capabilities

· Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

· Background in Non-life Insurance, end-premium, Underwriting profit, and Risk Management
