We are seeking an experienced Senior Contact Center Platform Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to the success of our client's business operations, as contact center platforms are at the core of customer engagement. The Senior Engineer will focus on system engineering, automation, and serve as the highest point of technical escalation across specialized areas.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your area of specialization, you will:

  • Automation: Design, implement, and manage automation workflows using Terraform and related tools.
  • Cloud Telephony: Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues on cloud-based telephony platforms (e.g., Nuance).
  • Server Management: Provide deep-level support and administration for Calabrio servers and related systems.
  • Security: Lead and execute security patching for on-premise platforms, including Avaya, Dtools, Sprinkler, and Verint.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a senior engineering role with a focus on platform management.
  • Specialized expertise in at least one of the following areas:

  • Cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

  • On-premise server administration, management, and security patching.
  • Strong knowledge of contact center technologies and architecture.
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects, manage escalations, and resolve complex systemic issues.

Desired Qualifications

  • Combined expertise across both Cloud/Automation and Infrastructure/Security domains.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Terraform Associate, AWS/GCP Certified Engineer, CompTIA Security+).
  • Advanced scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar.

Experience Level

While a specific number of years is not mandated, the role requires a seasoned professional with proven success in contact center engineering. Given the critical nature of contact centers to the client's business, only candidates with the right level of technical depth and leadership ability will be considered.
