Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise operations and maintenance of building facilities namely Generators Set, Pumps, Fan and Blowers, Building Management System, Fire Alarm and Detection System and Fire Sprinkler System, Air Conditioning System, Electrical and Water System; responsible for ensuring that these systems perform effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition by conducting regular inspection.
  • Prepare checklists and procedures for preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Supervise and manage the technical personnel for all buildings, and oversee all operations and maintenance activities.
  • Propose modifications to existing designs and solutions, and recommend structural repairs when necessary.
  • Responsible for designing maintenance methods and strategies, scheduling maintenance work, identifying problems, and managing maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Analyses the equipment maintenance structure, look into equipment and machinery failures, assess the needs for spare parts and equipment replacements, report safety hazards, and evaluate alternatives.
  • Responsible for providing written instructions for maintenance strategies, which help with commissioning and installation guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and undertake emergency repairs effectively and efficiently to minimize time lost due to unanticipated equipment outages.
  • Recommend solutions and prepare relevant reports to ensure proper selection of outsourced services.
  • Monitor construction works and ensure that all guidelines are strictly followed. Provide project status reports to the Building Manager.
  • Conduct daily coordination meetings with Security, Maintenance and Janitorial personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent.
  • Professional license is required for this position.
  • With at least 3-5 years' relevant experience as a Building Engineer or in Property Management
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and can work under pressure.
  • With project management background & skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and can coordinate effectively.
