About the role

Desq Construction Management is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development within our growing company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate on-site construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring of work
  2. Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely completion of tasks
  3. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
  4. Conduct site inspections, identify and resolve issues, and implement corrective measures as needed
  5. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting on project progress and performance
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and tools to complete their work
  7. Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to find innovative solutions to construction challenges

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree and a license in Civil Engineering or a related field
  2. 1-2 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  5. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  7. Familiarity with project management software and tools
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
