Job Description

The Geodetic Engineer will work closely with a highly competent team of professionals to undertake a diverse portfolio of water supply, sewerage, drainage, and other infrastructure projects, encompassing conceptualization, planning, feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be a Licensed Geodetic Engineer.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Experience in the production of GIS and CAD documentation using QGIS, AutoCAD, and other analysis/design software is an advantage

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and an accommodating and proactive attitude.

• Ability to think analytically, identify technical and operational issues, anticipate their consequences, analyze from different perspectives, and provide practical solutions.

• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with the other disciplines in the project team, such as Mechanical, Architectural, and Civil.

• Willing to assist others in the project team who might be needed from time to time to ensure the team accomplishes the timely delivery of projects.

• Willing to be assigned at project sites inside or outside Metro Manila.

• Can start immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performing land surveying, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, drainage surveys, and construction surveys.

• Creating detailed topographic maps and plans using surveying data and GIS software

• Analyzing survey data and preparing reports to support engineering design and decision-making

• Collaborating with the civil, planning, and structural engineering teams to ensure the integration of survey data into project plans

• Maintaining survey equipment and ensuring data collection processes meet quality standards

• Data collection and maintenance of records for all gathered survey data.

• Coordination with clients, contractors, and government agencies to coordinate survey work activities

• Identifies various existing structures on site and confirms their inclusion in the survey

• Establishes horizontal and vertical control points by marking them to ensure precision and accuracy.

• Creates drawings, layouts, and other graphical representations of survey data using CAD and GIS.

• Engagement in the transfer of the knowledge and technology of geodetic engineering in any institution of learning

• Performs calculations using survey data to provide necessary figures to be used as a reference during project planning, design, and implementation.

• Participate in design and coordination meetings with the clients

• Perform other tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.
