Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- With active Professional License as Registered Nurse from Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- Certification on Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and preferably with Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines certification and training.
- Preferably with 1 year-above experience as a HR- Company Nurse.
- Preferably with work experience in Logistics, Freight forwarding and/ or manufacturing industry.
- With good communication skills to interact with employees in all level.
- Ability to make sound decisions in some emergency situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle records, supplies and clinic tasks.
- Willing to be assigned in Malate, Manila.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Occupational Health Management
Provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
- Accountable to the inventory of medicines and other clinical supplies every month.
- Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
- Document all employee injury and illness and keep this information confidential.
- Secure and ensure that the sick employees are checked and is fit to work upon returning to work.
- Schedule and assist in the Annual Physical Examination (APE) of all employees.
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and evaluations for employees.
- Manage workplace injuries, illnesses, and return-to-work programs.
- Coordinate with occupational health providers and insurance companies for employee care.
- Maintain and update employee health records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Monitor workplace conditions to prevent health hazards and ensure safety standards are met.
Employee Wellness Program
Develop and implement health and safety programs.
- Promote healthy eating and wellness programs.
- Improve the health of employees through ongoing programs and health checks.
- Conduct workplace cascading and seminars of health programs.
- Develop and implement wellness programs aimed at improving employee health and well-being.
- Conduct health education and promotion activities, such as workshops, seminars, and health fairs.
Collaborate with external healthcare providers to offer health services and screenings on-site.
Health and Safety Compliance
Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area.
- Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA and local health codes.
- Develop and update health-related policies and procedures in collaboration with the HR team.
- Conduct workplace inspections and audits to identify potential health risks and recommend corrective actions.
Responsible for filling and submission to DOLE the company's Work Accident/ Illness Report.
HR Support
Communicate with the management regarding health and safety proposals for the company.
- Interpret and validate sick leave attachments in conjunction with Human Resource.
- Assist HR in managing employee leave of absence, including FMLA, short-term disability, and other health-related leaves.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding health benefits, workers' compensation, and wellness programs.
- Coordinate HMO services, including enrolment, claims processing, and liaison between employees and HMO providers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25, Php28,000.00 per month
