Job Summary:

The Occupational Health Nurse (OHNAP Nurse) is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of employees by providing medical care, implementing health programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with HR and Safety departments in managing health records, conducting health surveillance, and ensuring a safe and healthy workplace in accordance with DOLE and OHNAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid and emergency medical treatment to employees when needed.
  • Conduct pre-employment, annual, and return-to-work medical assessments in coordination with the company physician.
  • Maintain and update employee medical records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Implement occupational health programs such as health education, immunization, and wellness activities.
  • Conduct workplace health surveillance and assist in identifying occupational hazards and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE Department Order No and OHNAP guidelines for workplace health programs.
  • Monitor and maintain medical supplies, equipment, and clinic cleanliness.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to DOLE and management (e.g., accident/incident reports, annual medical reports).
  • Assist the company physician in consultations, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
  • Promote employee wellness through health campaigns, seminars, and counseling.
  • Participate in the company's safety committee and contribute to emergency preparedness programs.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) and an active member of OHNAP.
  • Must hold a valid PRC license.
  • Preferably with training in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH for Nurses) or equivalent.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a company nurse or in an occupational health setting.
  • Knowledgeable in first aid, emergency response, and health education.
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Amenable to work at Mandaluyong City
  • Willing to work from Mon - Sat.

Work Environment:

  • Office or industrial work setting.
  • Exposure to workplace health risks may occur; adherence to safety measures and PPE use is required.
