Purpose:

To provide offshore support to the Commercial Estimator / Project Designer by assisting with estimating, design documentation, and project coordination tasks. This position strengthens the team's efficiency, accuracy, and response times in the preparation of tenders, quotes, and drawings for commercial projects.

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Estimating Assistance

· Perform quantity take-offs from drawings or plans (turf areas, edging, base materials).

· Input data into estimating templates or pricing spreadsheets.

· Prepare draft quotes for internal review and approval.

· Maintain records of historical pricing and cost references.

  1. Design Documentation

· Prepare or update layout drawings, markups, and concept visuals using CAD or Auto desk design review.

· Revise and format drawings following internal feedback or client updates.

· Ensure all design documentation aligns with presentation and version control standards.

  1. Project Coordination Support

· Collate drawings and documents for tender and submission packages.

· Maintain project tracking sheets and progress logs via internal systems.

· Assist with file organisation, naming consistency, and digital record keeping.

· Support report preparation and project summaries of all quoted and submitted works for management visibility.

  1. Administrative Tasks

· Enter and update client and project information within internal systems.

· Maintain cloud-based organisation of project files (Google Drive / SharePoint).

· Update external pricing of suppliers used internally.

· Support reporting requirements and data consolidation for commercial operations.

Requirements

Skills & Tools:

· Fundamental understanding of construction or landscape plans.

· Experience with AutoCAD, Auto desk design review (preferred).

· Strong Excel / Google Sheets capability.

· Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 platforms.

· High attention to detail and consistency in formatting and presentation.

Training:

This role offers a valuable training experience - successful candidate will undergo professional training in Australia, gaining hands-on exposure to industry practices, tools, and standards.
