SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support the
    regulatory compliance review process
    , ensuring alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and Group standards.
  • Strengthen and oversee the
    management and monitoring of affiliates
    in line with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and enhance training and communication materials related to Compliance and Governance.
  • Conduct Compliance & Governance-related trainings across the Bank and its affiliates.
  • Provide effective administrative and governance support to the compliance team.
  • Respond to queries of Bank personnel, particularly on compliance oversight functions and affiliates management.
  • Assist the team and other units in CCGO in accomplishing tasks requested/issued by UBP Compliance.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the review and securing of signatures from the President and other Officers of the Bank, as required.
  • Perform other compliance, governance, and affiliate oversight responsibilities as may be assigned by the CCGO.
  • Attend webinars, seminars, and trainings to keep updated with regulatory and governance developments for professional growth.
  • Attend and present to Senior Management and/or Board Committee-level meetings, particularly the CorGov, whenever necessary.
