The Head of Consumer is responsible for the growth of the B2C business unit of KonsultaMD & mWell. S/he formulates strategies to drive revenue via in-app/direct-to-consumer transactions, and leads a team of associates in successfully implementing them, towards improving healthcare access and outcomes for millions of Filipinos.

Responsibilities

  • The Head of Consumer defines the overall vision, objectives, strategies, and tactics/activities to drive usage and generate revenues for KonsultaMD & mWell's direct-to-consumer business.
  • The person demonstrates leadership on various levels: representing the business unit to the management committee through ownership of results reporting, creating work plans that champion the professional development of the team members, leading associates and cross-functional teams in the execution of tactics/activities (on-time, in full, and within budget), and driving strategic external partnerships.
  • The Head of Consumer owns the business unit's P&L and ensures that mWell & KonsultaMD's portfolio/pricing are optimized to best meet users' needs and the business's growth/profit objectives, while operating within budget.
  • Consumer research, industry trends, and competitor activities consistently inform the Head of Consumer's business decisions. The person can advocate for the consumer through having a deep and intimate knowledge of their needs and motivations, as captured in the target user persona.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience in brand management or product marketing in the e-commerce, technology, consumer goods, or healthcare industry
  • 1-3 years of experience in team management
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, strategic and consumer-centric thinking, team leadership and collaboration, resourcefulness and adaptability in a highly dynamic environment
