Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor oversees treasury and disbursement operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes. The role manages the Treasury and Disbursement Team, enforces internal controls, oversees cash flows, fund balances, and monthly closing activities, and coordinates with banks and regulatory agencies. This position upholds process efficiency, financial integrity, and compliance to support the company's stability and growth.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, treasury, disbursement, or related fields, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury operations, disbursements, cash flow management, and BIR compliance (Alphalist, 2307, VAT, etc.).
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to implement internal controls and drive process improvements.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with stakeholders, banks, and regulatory agencies.

Job Description:

  • Supervise the Treasury and Disbursement Team in daily operations and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee treasury processes, cash flow, fund balances, and monthly closing activities (e.g., accruals, reversals, amortizations).
  • Manage corporate and client disbursements, including checks, online transfers, and petty cash fund.
  • Prepare, maintain, and reconcile BIR schedules and reports (Alphalists, 2307, VAT, VAT reversals).
  • Ensure proper documentation, receipt validation, and accurate recording of disbursements in the Accounting System.
  • Coordinate with banks and oversee related administrative support tasks (e.g., check collection, transactions).
  • Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and financial reports as needed.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
