Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounting Supervisor with at least 5 years of experience in accounting operations and a strong background in banking or financial services supervision. The role will oversee daily accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support audits, and supervise a team of accountants to maintain accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Review, analyze, and prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with local tax laws, government regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of accounting staff, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to best practices.
  • Coordinate with auditors, regulatory agencies, and external partners for reporting, compliance, and audits.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve financial discrepancies and provide financial insights for decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Prior work experience as a Banking Supervisor or in the financial services sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php75,000.00 per month
