Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field service and equipment repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with hand tools, as well as proficiency in computer hardware and networking. The Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field service tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot issues.
  • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems accurately.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and replace faulty components as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve technical challenges.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client concerns.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking principles.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems and their maintenance.
  • Proficient in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various types of equipment.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
