Operating across Indonesia and now expanding into the Philippines, Baskit connects consumer brands with distributors, modern trade chains, and wholesalers — bridging supply, credit, and digital operations through technology.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven
Sales & Operations Manager / Director (depending on seniority)
to lead Baskit's commercial and operational expansion in the Philippines.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape our market entry — from building local distributor partnerships to onboarding fast-growing consumer brands.

Our CEO,
Yann Schuermans
, will be in
Manila from November 17–22
to meet shortlisted candidates in person.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with distributors, wholesalers, and modern trade players across key FMCG categories.
  • Identify, approach, and onboard high-potential local and regional consumer brands to the Baskit platform.
  • Develop and execute commercial go-to-market plans aligned with Baskit's technology-enabled distribution model.
  • Oversee sales operations, demand planning, and supply alignment between brands and distributors.
  • Coordinate closely with the Indonesia HQ on pricing, credit, and logistics initiatives.
  • Lead brand and distributor negotiations, performance reviews, and partnership growth strategies.
  • Provide insights on the Philippine retail landscape, emerging categories, and route-to-market opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5–12 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Operations within Distribution or FMCG.
  • Based in Manila, with a strong professional network among emerging brands and distributors.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships in the consumer goods ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of how distribution, sales, and supply chain operations work at both traditional and modern trade levels.
  • Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset — able to work autonomously and build new processes from scratch.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Fluency in English and Tagalog.
