QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • With Licensed Electrical Engineer
  • With 2-3 working experience in construction operations, exposed in procurement, bid evaluation, quantity surveying and cost engineering works;
  • Familiar with engineering standards, codes and specifications;
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented;
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Computer proficient.
  • Willing to work on-site in Makati, Mondays to Fridays 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • • Reports directly to QSD Head and assist both the QSD MEPFS Supervisor and the QSD Senior Electrical Engineer


• Coordinates with and receives advise from the QSD Senior Electrical Engineer


• Assist the QSD Senior Electrical Engineer in, and may be tasked to directly, handle and monitor specific assigned projects and coordinates directly with each specific external CMs for all concerned bidding and awarding activities ensuring timely and appropriate actions are taken accordingly.


• Ensures that details of all scope of works are covered and appropriate for each Contract Package


• Reviews and validates Bidding and Awarding Schedules submitted by the External CMs


• Coordinates and solicits complete and accurate project information from CMD Teams and external CMS regarding schedules, status, conflicts, progress, potential problems, etc.


• Estimates/take offs work items for each scope of Work of any Contract Package based on approved bid drawings, construction drawings, bulletins, existing field conditions and specifications


• Prepares list of Bidders, costs and quantity take-off and evaluates cost proposals (for review and validation of the QSD MEPFS Supervisor, prior to recommendation of the QSD Head)


• Reviews and monitors completeness and appropriateness of issuances from Consultants and drawings, bulletins and the like and facilitates its impact of each of the Contract Packages per assigned project


• Assists the QSD MEPFS Supervisor and the QSD Insurance Supervisor in collating appropriate documents to support claims


• Prepares initial drafts of RTNs, RTAs and accurate/complete details of awards


• Reviews and validates actual accomplishment reports on contractor's billings, endorses to QSD MEPFS Supervisor for notation prior to finalization


• Prepares budget, cost reports, cash flows and projections


• Prepares QSD-generated permit requirements as needed by Management


• Reviews change order evaluation and endorses to QSD MEPFS Supervisor for comments and notation


• Coordinate with CMD Teams regarding any appropriate action necessary pertaining any project concern


• Keeps an organized softcopy and hardcopy files relative to QSD tasks and projects handled


• Performs related duties and responsibilities, including project site visits as may be assigned from time to time
