Experience

  • At least 5-year work experience in the field of corporate treasury in an operating entity
  • Experience in railway and/or transport industry is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Banking and Finance or other related fields.
  • CPA Certification is an advantage but not required.

Key Job Responsibilities

Disbursements

  • Validate weekly disbursements for funding in Oracle Payables against payable vouchers transferred to Treasury for payments.
  • Determine the appropriate approvers of all verified payment instructions before routing the documents to signatories.
  • Send weekly disbursement summary to Treasury Operations Assistant Manager for approval.
  • Supervise the Disbursement Associate to ensure all transactions are processed within the Policy and instructions.
  • Ensure all telegraphic transfers are sent to the bank and timely executed.
  • Ensure all payments are processed with Oracle Fusion in a timely manner.
  • Assist the team to ensure all documentation is consolidated and transmitted to the Controllership team immediately to minimize the pile of documents.
  • Ensure all disbursement monitoring files and scan copies of documents are always updated/complete.

Reconciliation and Reporting

  • Supervise the Recon Associate to ensure all transactions are recorded and reconciled with Oracle Fusion.
  • Ensure compliance with the weekly and monthly submission of reports and supporting documents.
  • Ensure submission of audit requirements within the given period.
  • Document procedures that are not yet part of the existing policy and work instructions.
  • Assist the Associate to ensure all transactions are properly documented.
