About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Human Resources to lead and oversee the company's HR operations. This role plays a critical part in shaping HR strategies, driving employee engagement, and ensuring that HR practices align with business goals, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in all facets of HR management — including recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and payroll — and can effectively balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and payroll administration
  • Develop and implement HR programs and policies aligned with organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, government regulations, and Insurance Commission standards
  • Partner with senior management to foster a high-performing, engaged, and compliant workforce
  • Oversee payroll management and ensure accurate, timely processing and statutory compliance
  • Drive employee development, retention, and succession planning strategies
  • Manage HR systems, data integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity (preferably in the life insurance or financial services industry)
  • Hands-on experience in payroll management and government compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws, compensation structures, and HR regulatory standards
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office tools
