Key Responsibilities
1. General Accounting & Financial Management
- Supervise accounting staff and monitor all accounting functions including billing, collections, disbursements, and payroll.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG reporting and remittances.
- Monitor company cash flow and prepare fund requests when necessary.
2. Billing & Collection (Security Industry Specific)
- Oversee preparation of client billing based on guard deployment reports and service agreements.
- Verify correctness of billing rates, number of guards, post assignments, and overtime charges.
- Coordinate with operations and HR for deployment updates and billing adjustments.
- Follow up on collections and reconcile Accounts Receivable with client records.
3. Payroll Supervision
- Supervise computation and release of salaries for field guards and office personnel.
- Validate attendance reports, deductions, allowances, and benefits.
- Ensure accurate payroll posting and timely remittance of statutory deductions.
4. Audit & Compliance
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Assist in external audits and provide necessary financial reports.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and government regulations.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare management reports such as aging of receivables, expense summaries, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with management and department heads for budget planning and financial forecasting.
- Provide financial advice and analysis to support company decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or Finance.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a security agency, manpower, or service contracting firm.
- Knowledge of BIR regulations, statutory remittances, and government compliance reports.
- Experience in billing and payroll for large-scale manpower deployment is an advantage.
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), but not required.
