About the role

Bayanilife Inc. is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team in Tarlac City, Tarlac. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing and procurement activities to support the smooth operation of our manufacturing and logistics business. You will play a key strategic role in ensuring we have the necessary materials and resources to meet our production targets and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies
  2. Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and services from suppliers to meet production requirements
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing
  4. Monitor supplier performance and quality to ensure compliance with company standards
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supply chain issues
  6. Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to optimise stock levels
  7. Provide regular reporting and analysis on purchasing activities and metrics
  8. Lead and develop a team of purchasing professionals

What we're looking for

  1. Significant experience (8+ years) in a purchasing or procurement management role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
  2. Strong negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to effectively manage supply chain challenges
  4. In-depth knowledge of purchasing best practices, inventory management, and supply chain optimisation
  5. Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools
  6. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  7. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
