We are looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef with overseas culinary experience, to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of professional experience in fast-paced, high-standard kitchens and demonstrate strong leadership, food cost, and team collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in all kitchen operations and take charge in their absence
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and hygiene
- Monitor and control food costs, portioning, and wastage
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes
- Assist in menu planning, food sourcing, and supplier coordination
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Implement and enforce health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Sous Chef or similar role
- Proven international work experience (overseas) in reputable kitchens or better fine dining level
- Strong knowledge of food costing and inventory control
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse team
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification is a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to Php60,000.00 per month
