We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Collection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from clients, ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner, and maintaining accurate records of all collection activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of financial processes, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Duties:

  • Contact clients to discuss overdue payments and resolve outstanding balances.
  • Negotiate payment plans and terms with clients to ensure timely debt recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Monitor accounts to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all collection activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on collection progress and account status.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to improve the efficiency of the collections process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar role is a PLUS but not required
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance or accounting is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php27,000.00 per month
