Job description:

  1. Provide legal advice and handle legal matters relating to sales, marketing, after sales operations, logistic, product compliances, HR, admin and internal support functions.

  2. Research and advise on laws and regulations which may impact on Xiaomi Philippines business.

  3. Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of contracts.

  4. Review marketing material and retail marketing campaigns.

  5. Communicate and liaise with government, regulatory and/or local authorities.

  6. Handle legal disputes and consumer claims, including manage external counsels.

  7. Assist in further development of Legal & Compliance team.

Job requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in law from an accredited university.

  2. Qualified lawyer with at least 6 years PQE in Philippines.

  3. Excellent communication in English (written and oral), cross-cultural skills and interpersonal skills. Experience working with stakeholders across all levels of organization.

  4. Strong business acumen and ability to work in an unstructured working environment.

  5. Capable to multitask, prioritize and handle tight deadlines.

  6. Capable to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

  7. Able to work onsite at BGC, Taguig.
