We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative to join our remote
team supporting a U.S.-based client. The AR Representative will be responsible for processing
customer payments & reconciling accounts. This position requires strong analytical and
communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced virtual
environment. AR Representatives are responsible for the batches of payments assigned at the
beginning of the shift.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Post charges and payments including short payments, and unapplied cash; able to determine when to pursue a balance versus when a file is ok to write off or close.
  • Organizes and sorts incoming bill responses including payments, non-payments and underpayments.
  • Communicates with AR manager regarding non-standard payments and issues.
  • Participates in digital filing of payments and documents in the proper system and account.
  • Track and document key information related to payments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update records in the client's accounting system (e.g., NetSuite), support month-end closing activities by reconciling AR sub-ledgers and assisting with audit requests.
  • Works within the Finance Department to ensure proper accounting.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
  • Minimum 1-year experience AR
  • Intermediate level of Data Entry.
  • Experience with workers' compensation and med-legal collections a plus
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work independently & excellent organizational skills
