Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in UGONG. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, handling tax filings, and processing payroll. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and compliance.
  • Process payroll, ensure timely salary disbursement, and maintain payroll records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor company expenses.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP).
  • Solid knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
