The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies. This role supervises accounting staff, manages financial reporting, and supports management in decision-making through accurate and timely financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and review the daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and other departments during audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities.
  • Review and verify disbursements, reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
  • Train and guide accounting staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
