Pancake is a modern, fast-growing SaaS platform that helps businesses manage all customer conversations across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more – all in one unified dashboard.

As we scale further in the Philippines, we are seeking a Sales Specialist with strong Direct Customer Acquisition (Field Sales) capability. This role is highly focused on visiting businesses, meeting prospects face-to-face, and converting on-ground opportunities across Metro Manila.

1. Key Responsibilities
(Direct Customer Acquisition–Focused)

  • Direct Field Outreach: Actively visit businesses within Metro Manila (Pasig, Quezon City, Manila, and nearby areas) to introduce Pancake, conduct demos, and convert prospects.

  • Client Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients through online channels, social media, and industry directories—but with priority on on-ground customer acquisition.

  • Product Presentations:

+Offline: On-site demos, business visits, and face-to-face consultations.

  • Online: Zoom / Google Meet presentations when required.

  • Customer Onboarding & Support: Provide hands-on post-sale support for at least six months to ensure adoption and retention, including in-person guidance if needed.

  • Customer Handling: Manage inquiries and issues following Pancake processes; resolve basic concerns independently and escalate complex cases.

  • Event Participation: Join and support software education events, partner promotions, workshops, and product awareness activities.

  • Market Expansion: Actively expand the client base within assigned territories and identify new pockets of opportunities.

  • Idea Contribution: Propose fresh, innovative field-sales strategies to boost direct acquisition and conversions.

  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate, updated records of all leads, visits, follow-ups, and client statuses.

2. What We Are Looking For
(Especially Strong in Field Sales)

a. Working Experience

  • 1–2 years in B2B sales or customer service, ideally with field sales exposure.

  • Experience in SaaS, tech, or digital products (E-commerce, IT, outsourcing, etc.) is preferred.

  • Proven ability in direct sales, negotiation, persuasion, and relationship building.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital platforms like Pancake, ManyChat, Shopify, WordPress, etc.

  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and committed to hitting sales targets.

  • Excellent communication in both Tagalog and English.

b. Market Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the Philippine SME, digital, and e-commerce market.

  • Good grasp of local business behaviour, especially small and medium businesses in Metro Manila.

  • Experience working with sellers, digital entrepreneurs, reseller communities is a plus.
