The Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective movement of products worldwide, supporting the business's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Experience

  • Solid background in logistics and international freight/customs (essential)
  • Hands-on experience with Unleashed inventory management software (preferred)
  • Knowledge of inventory management processes (preferred)
  • Prior exposure to the food industry (preferred)
  • Experience in customer service and client support (preferred)

Skills

  • Strong understanding of sea and air freight operations and related customs documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve logistics issues quickly
  • Leadership potential and the capability to manage a team in the future
  • Conversational Spanish skills (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and confirm freight and logistics quotes
  • Convert quotes into orders in close collaboration with the sales team
  • Review and oversee order fulfillment processes
  • Book sea and air freight as required
  • Prepare, verify, and manage import/export documentation
  • Review and validate supplier and freight invoices
  • Track shipments and ensure timely deliveries
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logistics challenges
  • Negotiate freight rates and service terms with providers
