We're looking for a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team, reporting directly to our Lead BI Developer. In this role, you'll be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business strategy. You will design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards, empowering our stakeholders with the information they need to make informed decisions. A key focus will be on automating reports and processes to improve efficiency and data delivery.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem-solver with a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills. You will be expected to not only build the solutions but also to understand the business needs behind the data requests.

Key Responsibilities
Report and Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, and deploy reporting solutions and interactive dashboards using tools like Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Write and optimize complex queries using SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.

Data Analysis and Automation

• Develop and maintain automation solutions for various reports and business processes.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on business data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by developing and maintaining data quality processes.

Stakeholder Engagement and Support

• Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all reporting and data models.
• Provide training and support to end-users on business intelligence tools and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications

• A solid understanding of SQL, including experience with relational databases and database normalization.
• Proven proficiency in building reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Expertise in writing complex queries and using various reporting and analysis tools.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Goal-oriented, action-focused, and a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analysis role.
• Experience with operational support, maintenance, and development of enterprise-wide ETL processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tableau.
• Proven experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on B2B operations, is highly desirable. Experience working with data related to sales, customer churn, service provisioning, and network performance will be a significant advantage.
