Business Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer that will form part of our Analytics team.  The role of the Business Intelligence Engineers will be responsible in design, development and implementation of enterprise-wide decision support systems. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling, database management, and Business Intelligence technologies like SQL Servicer, SSRS, PowerBI and Azure Analytical and Storage Services.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for translating functional requirements and high-level design of components and modules into a developed and tested, multi-tier solution, including front-end, business logic and database.
  • Implement solutions on the SQL Server RDBMS, within an existing solutions development framework.
  • Provide support to Business Intelligence Architect during systems development lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis
  • Present information through reports and data visualizations using the PowerBI Dashboard

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant field

·       At least one year of Industry experience is preferred

·       Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or Data Science

·       Experience in reporting tools such as PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS or related skills

·       Experience in Azure Analytical Services is preferred

·       Experience in data mining, ETL and using databases such as MS SQL, Oracle

The Business Intelligence Engineers will partner with software developers, data engineers to deliver robust structured reporting to business owners and stakeholders
