Job Summary:
As an NEMT Dispatch Specialist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services, ensuring timely and efficient transportation for our clients. You will be responsible for accurately processing trip requests, managing schedules, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate NEMT trip requests, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providers, and other stakeholders to confirm trip details and provide updates.
- Utilize dispatch or scheduling systems and CRM tools to input and update trip information accurately.
- Handle high call volumes while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor.
- Resolve client inquiries and address any issues or delays promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all trips and communications.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to data privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a BPO or call center environment, preferably in a voice account.
- Strongly preferred: Background in healthcare or medical-related accounts (e.g., insurance, patient services, transportation).
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) with a clear and professional tone.
- Strong customer service orientation with empathy and patience in handling sensitive or time-critical situations.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including managing high call volumes and accurately entering data.
- Proficiency in dispatch or scheduling systems, CRM tools, and basic office software (MS Excel, Google Sheets).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate trip information and customer updates.
- Willingness to work in shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required by the client.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn client-specific processes.
