About the role

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of various healthcare infrastructure projects. This is a full-time position based in Pasig City Metro Manila. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure the successful completion of all civil engineering tasks, contributing to the company's mission of providing modern, efficient healthcare facilities to the local community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQ, and material take-offs for project proposals and construction
  2. Developing detailed plans and specifications for civil engineering projects
  3. Conducting site inspections, cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets and monitoring construction progress to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  4. Collaborating with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities
  5. Performing structural analyses and designing foundations, roads, and other civil infrastructure
  6. Reviewing and validating design drawings and specifications for quantity and cost accuracy
  7. Identifying and addressing any technical or logistical challenges that arise during the construction process
  8. Verify and evaluate progress billings, change orders, and payment claims
  9. Maintaining detailed records and documentation for all civil engineering projects

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Licensed is an advantage; non-licensed may also apply)
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the healthcare industry or commercial projects
  3. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software, project management tools, MS Excel, and quantity take-off or estimating software
  4. Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  5. Knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, and cost control procedures
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  7. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  8. Detailed-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  10. Willing to conduct site visits and field validations as required
