Y Kitchen Food Corp., A company engaged in the establishment, operation, and management of restaurants specializing in Asian cuisine, including commissary and catering services, is currently in need of a Sous Chef who will assist in overseeing kitchen operations and support food production, quality control, and daily operations across the restaurant, commissary, and catering functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- overseeing daily kitchen operations and overall food production.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper workflow, discipline, and adherence to standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation according to approved recipes.
- Implement and enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate menu execution, commissary production, and catering requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering, and proper storage of ingredients.
- Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- Assist in menu development, costing, and portion control.
- Step in as Acting Executive Chef in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php40, Php43,000.00 per month
