Overview

We are a personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant (VA) to manage and grow our Facebook and Instagram accounts. This role requires strong knowledge of legal marketing—especially in the personal injury space—and the ability to independently develop, execute, and maintain a compliant social media presence that attracts, educates, and engages potential clients.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: 55,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time (8 hours/day plus 30-minute unpaid break)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidate must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to personal injury law.
  • Establish cohesive branding and maintain a monthly content calendar.
  • Conduct competitor research and implement best practices for engagement.
  • Create and publish high-quality posts (graphics, captions, videos, reels) using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
  • Ensure all content is compliant with State Bar advertising rules and legal marketing ethics.
  • Engage with followers, local businesses, and community groups to enhance visibility.
  • Track performance metrics (reach, impressions, clicks, followers, conversions) and provide monthly reports.
  • Adjust strategy based on analytics to improve growth and engagement.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years managing social media for a law firm, preferably in personal injury.
  • Strong understanding of Facebook and Instagram algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Proven experience creating compliant, effective, and engaging content for legal professionals.
  • Excellent copywriting, design, and storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with ABA Model Rules and California-specific attorney advertising rules.
  • Proficiency with Canva, Meta Business Suite, scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite), and basic video editing.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently.
  • Comfortable managing all social media operations with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred: Experience with California-based law firms, knowledge of local SEO, Facebook Ads/Meta Boosts, Google Analytics.
