Overview

An innovative entertainment startup is seeking a Social Media & Talent Outreach Assistant to help build its platform from the ground up. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work directly with artists, manage social media strategy, and play a key role in discovering and promoting talented performers.

Job Highlights

  • Hourly Rate: Php
  • Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours
  • Schedule: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM CST, flexible schedule with weekly Zoom meetings
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor
  • Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Create engaging visual content and graphics to showcase artist performances
  • Conduct proactive outreach to discover and recruit talented artists from local communities
  • Engage with online communities, respond to messages, and build follower relationships
  • Publish and optimize video content featuring artist performances across multiple channels
  • Promote individual artists' existing social media channels and personal brands
  • Update website content and maintain platform information
  • Monitor social media analytics and implement growth strategies
  • Participate in weekly one-on-one coaching sessions for professional development
  • Collaborate via screen sharing for training and strategic planning sessions

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) with professional proficiency
  • Proven social media management experience with portfolio demonstrating creative content creation (Applicants MUST submit portfolios)
  • Graphic design capabilities and experience creating visual assets for social platforms
  • Understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and platform best practices
  • Experience or strong interest in music, entertainment, or creative industries preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable with video content creation, editing, and multi-platform publishing
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and ability to participate in video calls
  • Flexible availability for weekly coaching sessions and collaborative work
  • Creative mindset with passion for discovering and promoting artistic talent
