Job Description
:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated
Junior Automation Tester
with hands-on experience in
TOSCA automation tool
and/or exposure to
life insurance systems
. You will be responsible for supporting test automation efforts, ensuring software quality, and contributing to test planning, scripting, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases using
    TOSCA
    .
  • Collaborate with QA Analysts, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand test requirements.
  • Perform
    functional, regression, and integration testing
    for insurance or enterprise applications.
  • Report and track bugs using tools like
    JIRA, Azure DevOps
    , or similar.
  • Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.
  • Participate in test planning, status meetings, and daily stand-ups.
  • Document test results and prepare test reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.

Qualifications
:

Must Have
:

  • 1 to 2 years of
    experience in software testing or QA
    .
  • Hands-on experience with TOSCA Automation Tool
    – building and executing test cases.
  • Strong understanding of
    SDLC and STLC
    processes.
  • Experience with test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have
:

  • Exposure or background in the
    Life Insurance domain
    or
    Insurance applications
    .
  • Familiarity with testing in
    Agile/Scrum environments
    .
  • Experience with tools such as
    JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps
    , etc.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or API testing is a plus.

:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or tools.
