Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Tosca Automation Tester with strong expertise in automated testing using Tosca for insurance domain applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for insurance software platforms to ensure quality and reliability. Experience in the insurance industry is mandatory to understand domain-specific workflows, policy management, claims processing, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca for insurance domain applications.
  • Execute automated and manual tests to validate insurance software functionalities including policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, and billing.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand insurance business requirements and translate them into test automation scenarios.
  • Identify, record, and track defects; retest resolved defects and verify fixes.
  • Perform regression testing and integration testing using automation frameworks.
  • Generate test reports, document test cases, and ensure traceability of requirements to test cases.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, providing testing estimates and quality inputs.
  • Work with continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines to incorporate automated testing.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory standards and data protection policies in testing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience with Tosca automation tool.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance domain concepts: policy management, claims lifecycle, underwriting, billing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in designing and executing automated test cases in Tosca for complex insurance applications.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of API testing and integration testing in an insurance application context.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate into detailed test scenarios.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Tosca testing or relevant automation tools.
  • Prior experience working in insurance software or core insurance systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database validation for insurance data.
  • Exposure to performance testing in insurance applications.
