With over 50 years of combined team experience, we produce drawings, 3D modelling renders, and project takeoffs—particularly for railings, stairs, canopies, balconies, and other miscellaneous steel components. Our clients include architectural, construction, and fabrication firms globally.

Position Overview

We are looking for a driven Sales Executive to help expand our client base and sales revenue in the steel detailing / structural engineering market. This person will identify prospects, nurture leads, close deals, and build long-term relationships with firms that require detailing, modelling, and estimating services. The role requires strong technical understanding so as to communicate clearly about our services and differentiate our quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities and leads in the construction, steel fabrication, architectural, and engineering sectors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Present Qualis Solutions' capabilities (detailing, 3D rendering, takeoffs) to potential clients via online meetings.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements, estimate costs, and prepare proposals.
  • Follow up on proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales successfully.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in CRM; forecast sales and report results.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop materials (case studies, portfolios, presentations) that highlight our past projects and expertise.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, especially related to steel detailing and detailing software such as Tekla Structures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven sales experience in construction, architecture, engineering, fabrication, or similar technical fields.
  • Strong understanding of steel detailing, structural drawings, 3D modeling, or estimating. Familiarity with Tekla Structures or similar software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and ask clarifying questions.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple leads, proposals, and clients.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, MS Office, and possibly technical drafting / model-viewing platforms.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, with the capacity to work independently and meet sales targets.
