About the Client

Our client is a multi-state ambulatory surgery center specializing in pediatric and special needs dentistry under general anesthesia. Their mission is to provide safe, compassionate, and efficient surgical care while creating a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff. To ensure quality care and regulatory compliance, we are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join their growing team.

About the Role

The US Payroll Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll administration, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of payroll compliance, and the ability to support multi-state

operations. The ideal candidate will be analytical, process-driven, and comfortable collaborating with HR, Finance, and Site Leadership.

What You'll Do

• Process biweekly payroll for multi-state employees, including exempt, non-exempt, and contractors.

• Ensure accuracy of timekeeping records, pay rates, deductions, and adjustments.

• Partner with HR and site leadership to verify new hires, terminations, and employee status changes.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.

• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for Finance and Leadership.

• Manage payroll tax filings, garnishments, and other statutory requirements.

• Support audits by maintaining organized payroll records and providing documentation as needed.

• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.

• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement efficiencies.

What You Bring

• At least 3-5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state healthcare or service environment.

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Paycom, or similar).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
