Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Assistant to support our growing janitorial company as we embark on digital transformation, including the implementation of a Payroll System and QuickBooks Enterprise.

The IT Assistant will provide technical support, assist in system setup and maintenance, and ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Operations & Support

  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues (both on-site and remote).
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, etc.).
  • Monitor system performance and maintain basic network health.
  • Troubleshoot common issues with email, internet connectivity, and business applications.
  • Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory or similar systems.
  • Support cybersecurity measures by ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance IT efficiency.
  • Assist in evaluating and testing new software and automation tools.

2. Data & System Administration

  • Assist in managing user accounts, access controls, and permissions in HRIS, QuickBooks, and other systems.
  • Ensure backups are performed regularly and data is secured.
  • Support compliance with data privacy regulations.

3. Digital Transformation Projects

  • Support ongoing automation initiatives across departments (eg, attendance tracking, payroll, reporting, asset management).
  • Assist in the rollout, setup, and user support of newly acquired Payroll System and the revitalization of QuickBooks Enterprise.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders during implementation, testing, and training phases.
  • Help migrate data from legacy/manual systems into the new platforms.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and support to HRD, Accounting, and Operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in either of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration (fresh graduates with strong internships are welcome).
  • Basic knowledge of networking, Windows OS, and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with database management and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based systems, HRIS, or accounting software is an advantage (experience with QuickBooks is a plus).
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-site, people-heavy environment.
  • Strong communication and training skills to assist non-technical users.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
