II. JOB OBJECTIVE
Under general supervision, responsible for validating the accuracy, recording and journalizing entries of the company's daily transactions, providing financial, administrative, and clerical services, including recording and monitoring of cash advances and liquidations of employees thereby ensuring properly timely release and liquidation based on existing company policies
III. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs any, a combination of all the following tasks, depending on the area/s of assignment and specialization
A. Bookkeeping
Identifies delinquent accounts and reports the same to the Accounting Department Head
Responding to credit inquiries from external and internal clients
Determines value of depreciable assets and posts depreciation expense of the same in the accounting system
Prepares bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Reconciles accounts in a timely manner
Reconciles bank statements by comparing the same with general ledger entries
Reconciles income and expense accounts and prepares supporting schedules
Prepares, prints and secures approval of Debit/Credit Memo prior to posting
B. Accounts Payable
Monitors and keeps a schedule of recurring expenses such as utilities, rent, internet, etc.
Processes computation and bank crediting of payroll of deployed employees under IT Managed Services (ITMS)
Processes approved Requests for Payment according to prescribed policies and procedures
Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures on processing of accounts payables
C. Accounts Receivable
Monitors and keeps a record of accounts due for collection and maturing checks (check warehousing)
Evaluates account disputes and billing discrepancies and performs reconciliation
Responds to credit inquiries from external and internal clients in a timely manner
Identifies delinquent accounts, recommends proactive solution and reports the same to the Accounting Department Head
D. Performs other functions as directed by the management from time to time
IV. JOB SPECIFICATION
Minimum Educational Attainment - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Actual Work Experience – Two (2) years' experience in General Accounting in supervisory capacity
