FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the processing of all the documents needed for PhilHealth claims.
- Entertains queries and concerns regarding PhilHealth membership and benefit packages.
- Evaluate and receive patient's requirements.
- Deducts patient bill based on the complete final diagnosis of the patient.
- Assist phone calls regarding PhilHealth transactions.
- Handles Out-Patient and Hemodialysis Claims.
- Update list of PhilHealth patients.
- Provide the necessary documents in completion of every claim.
- Provides the photocopy of In-Patient chart (ortech/anesth record) and other attachment of PhilHealth claims.
- Update accreditation of doctors.
- Reports discharged PhilHealth Patients to Admitting Section for their census.
- Attend and participate in staff meeting as called for by the Administrator.
- Attends and participates in other meetings and seminars as required.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a graduate of any four (4) year course preferably business course.
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English communication skills
- Able to relate to different kinds of personalities
- Able to assess the patient's capacity to pay
- Has a pleasing personality
