PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform job functions consistent with the Hospital's mission and vision statements and witnesses the BHSMC core values in the discharge of his functions.

  2. Assist and addresses queries regarding processing of PhilHealth requirements and policies to members and/or patients.

  3. Organize and coordinate with processors and frontlines for the completion of PhilHealth requirements.

  4. Ensure the completeness of claim forms especially the doctor's signature.

  5. Screen and examine the PhilHealth Claims prior to transmittal.

  6. Print transmittal letter and sends transmittal claims to PhilHealth office.

  7. Secure inventory records of PhilHealth members.

  8. Responsible for putting CTC or certified true copy of diagnostic and procedures of all discharged patients to medical records sections.

  9. Responsible in coordinating with PhilHealth Office to collect if the institute has a disapproved, RTH or denied claims.

  10. Encode and update entries of patients' PhilHealth information using the Hospital Information System.

  11. Print CSF and CF2 Forms and ensures that all entries are complete and correct.

  12. Scans all documents necessary for PhilHealth E-Claims transaction; and

  13. Perform other PhilHealth related duties assigned.

  14. Advise medical providers, claimants and others on rule, procedures, policies and laws concerning the insurance program.

  15. Update the patients' master file with contract information.

  16. Perform such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane, or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
