JOB SUMMARY:

The Receptionist / Front Desk & Facility Assistant is responsible for providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, while also ensuring the office environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role combines front desk administrative duties with light facility support tasks, including basic cleaning and waste disposal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Reception & Front Desk Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees courteously and professionally.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, packages, letters, deliveries).
  • Maintain visitor logbook and issue visitor passes as necessary.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments.

2. Office & Facility Support

  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area, meeting rooms, and common areas.
  • Assist in setting up meeting rooms and office spaces for events or gatherings.
  • Perform basic office cleaning tasks (wiping surfaces, emptying trash bins, sweeping/mopping if needed).
  • Take out trash and recycling as scheduled.
  • Monitor and restock office supplies, pantry items, and cleaning materials.
  • Coordinate with building maintenance or external contractors for repairs, pest control, or facility-related concerns.

3. Safety & Maintenance Checks

  • Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met at all times.
  • Report any facility damage, equipment malfunction, or hazards to management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Senior High school graduate or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus).
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, office assistant, or similar role preferred.
  • Basic cleaning and facility maintenance knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace is a plus
  • Strong English communication skills
