Accounting Associate

Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial data, and assisting in the preparation of reports and statements. This role contributes to maintaining the company's financial integrity and supports management in decision-making through accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions accurately.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
  • Support in payroll preparation and expense monitoring.
  • Maintain and organize accounting documents and records.
  • Assist in audits, tax filings, and other compliance activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in remote setup is an advantage).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php21, Php25,000.00 per month
