· Responsible for the monthly closing of accounting books and reporting of financial results to Corporate.

· Review of journal entries of the recurring transactions prepared by General Accounting Executive/Officer.

· Prepares, maintains and produces required financial and management reports, on a timely and accurate basis, in compliance with the Group's policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles and, all relevant statutory requirements.

· Review monthly financial report and identify any unusual / significant variances.

· Prepares and reviews annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the cluster / property, together with the department heads / property managers.

· Review company bottlenecks and engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis of the property operations.

· Liaise with external and internal auditors in statutory and management audits.

· Liaise with tax consultant on tax assessment audits.

· Ensures that all taxes and duties are duly paid, in accordance with the applicable tax regulations.

· Ensure that fixed assets and inventories are properly capitalized and accounted in the accounting books.

· Monitors the cashflow of the cluster / property.

· Coordinates with property managers on monthly / quarterly reporting to owners.

· Coordinates with finance teams of owners (if any) on management reporting and statutory requirements of financial statements.

· Supports Country / Area Financial Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.

· Reports to Country / Area Financial Controller on any concerns relating to regulatory non-compliance and/or fraudulent transactions.
