About the role

Philtrust Bank is seeking a talented New Accounts Staff to join our Ayala branch in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and efficiently processing new account openings. The role is vital in supporting the growth and success of our retail banking operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Assisting customers with opening new bank accounts, including collecting required documentation and verifying customer information
  3. Accurately processing new account applications and maintaining detailed records
  4. Ensuring full compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies
  5. Cross-selling other Philtrust Bank products and services to customers
  6. Providing prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries and requests
  7. Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or retail banking role
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
  3. Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  4. Proficient in using banking systems and computer applications
  5. A friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude
  6. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  7. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance procedures (preferred)
  8. Earned a Bachelor's Degree in any related field
