Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Assurance Analyst to help drive execution of cybersecurity initiatives, close capability gaps, and strengthen collaboration between technical and business teams. This role promotes awareness, monitors progress, and ensures alignment with cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls to protect the organization from evolving threats.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and track cybersecurity initiatives and remediation efforts.
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Monitor and report on initiative performance and gap closure.
  • Escalate issues and deviations from cybersecurity policies and controls.
  • Collaborate with strategy and architecture teams to anticipate future requirements.
  • Ensure follow-up and resolution of exceptions and non-compliance.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness across executives, employees, partners, and customers.
  • Facilitate alignment between cybersecurity teams and business units.
  • Partner with Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Cybersecurity Operations, IT Foundations, and Digital Platforms to drive adoption and maturity of cybersecurity capabilities.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or IT governance.
  • Strong track record in managing cybersecurity initiatives and remediation efforts.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Experience working in large enterprises or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, digital platforms, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk assessment methodologies.
