About The Role
The Reporting & Analytics PIC will be critical in enabling data-driven decisions by managing performance dashboards, consolidating data sources, and ensuring accurate business monitoring. The role includes pulling data and making queries through SQL to support deeper analysis and actionable insights. Hiring this role ensures the team has clear visibility of results and the analytical foundation needed to drive sustainable growth for Shopee Supermarket's retail business.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive data analytics initiatives to support the growth and performance of Shopee Supermarket.
  • Analyze sales trends, user behavior, and campaign performance to identify actionable insights and business opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key metrics and track progress against targets.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and present clear recommendations to guide business and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Marketing, Warehouse Operations, Sourcing, and Regional teams to execute growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in business/marketing analytics, business intelligence, or analytics roles (e-commerce or tech industry is a plus).
  • Fresh grads allowed, so long as they have internship experience of the above.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. Data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
