PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The position holder shall undertake the following functions:

1. Supervise and support junior team members on a daily basis to ensure they effectively complete their tasks.
2. Assist the Manager in their role in ensuring an efficient workflow within the team.
3. Proven problem solving and decision making to improve the quality of services provided.
4. Business skills to assist with cash flow planning, budgeting, analysing and management accounts.
5. Exceptional time and project management skills.
6. Liaise with clients and Managers regarding queries on client work;
7. Attend the day-to-day transactions of assigned clients - Bank allocation, Payroll, Bills Payment, etc.
8. Handle Client's accounts email and respond to suppliers and customers
9. Ensure both technical skills and industry and client knowledge are maintained through attending relevant training sessions, reading and personal research.
10. Assist in the development of systems and processes that will ensure all work is performed to the highest professional standard and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the firm.
11. Achieve the billable hours budget;
12. Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS)  using Xero working papers
13. Contribute to the firm's business development by identifying additional work opportunities from existing clients, and promoting the firm and its services to clients and associates.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Education/License: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance / Licensed Certified Public Accountant

Work Experience: Must have 3+ years overall experience with at least 1-2 years of experience in local audit as an EXTERNAL AUDITOR.

Job Skills:

• Xero/MYOB Accounting Systems Competency, Google Workspace
• Advanced Excel skills, proficient Word skills
• Management skills and leadership skills in an operational accounting / bookkeeping environment
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Able to work unsupervised and show initiative

JOB DETAILS

• Schedule: Monday to Friday 7 AM-4 PM / 6 AM-3 PM
• Location: a cosmopolitan office located at Makati City
• Medical, Dental, Meal and Miscellaneous Allowances, Loans
• Hybrid work set up - Equipment provided
• Amenable to work onsite for the first month of Training
