The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified nurses into regional and remote Australian healthcare facilities. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role requiring strong communication skills, proactive sourcing, and experience working with healthcare talent.

 

What You'll Do 

  • Proactively source Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, AINs, and specialist nursing personnel.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for priority regions and specialties.
  • Use job boards, CV databases, LinkedIn, and outreach strategies to attract quality candidates.
  • Conduct screenings to assess qualifications, AHPRA registration status, availability, and suitability.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Prepare candidate profiles and submit shortlists to the Recruitment Manager.
  • Understand client shift and job requirements.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews and reference checks.
  • Support the manager with role fulfillment updates and reporting.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Administrator to ensure all documentation is completed and verified.
Requirements
What You Bring 
We're looking for someone who: 
  • 3+ years recruitment experience (AU/UK healthcare experience is required)
  • Strong communication and candidate engagement skills.
  • Ability to work to KPIs and deadlines.
  • Confident with sourcing tools, CRM/ATS platforms, and online screening.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple roles.
